Please read below for details of specific refund /cancellation policies for our individual products and services. Any refunds and cancellations offered are at the discretion of VERTICA with no obligation or liability.

All refunds will be made via the same method and to the same card used to pay.

The client accepts that unless stated below or agreed in writing with VERTICA, there is no entitlement to refund for any products/services once work on the assignment has commenced.

All requests for refunds or rescheduling of workshops, training or events should be made in writing within 14 days of purchase or according to any specific timescales outlined below:

CV Writing & Application Form Completion

The client accepts that for CV Writing and Application Form Services, there is no entitlement to refund once we have started the assignment.

Should you order these services and we have not started the assignment or allocated time to the project, we will be able to refund your payment in full.


Workshops, Events, Training Sessions

For the purpose of these terms, all workshops, events and training sessions shall be referred to as ‘Events’.

1. PAYMENT TERMS All bookings are secured once payment has been received. We accept payment by debit/credit card or Paypal.

2. CANCELLATIONS, TRANSFERS AND NON-ATTENDANCE All cancellations and requests to transfer must be made in writing to Vertica either by email (admin@vertica-careers.com), letter or fax on 0333 210 5150, and will be acknowledged in writing.

2.1 TRANSFERRING EVENTS

  • There is no charge for transferring an event to an alternative date, provided the request is received 30 or more days before the start of the event.
  • We are unable to accommodate requests to transfer events if the request is received within 30 days of the event date due to incurred costs.

2.2 CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

  • Cancellations received in writing 30 or more days before the start of the event will be entitled to a full refund or rescheduling of the event.
  • Cancellations received in writing less than 30 days of the event will not be eligible for a refund.
  • If the participant fails to attend the event, the full course fees are payable/non-refundable.
  • If the participant has previously transferred from an alternative event and then subsequently cancels from the new event date there will be no eligibility for a refund or transfer.

3. DISCLAIMER

  • We reserve the right to cancel an event at any time and offer an alternative date, a credit or a refund without any liability for consequential or indirect loss.
  • Programmes are correct at the time of going to print. However, alterations may occasionally be necessary due to circumstances beyond our control.
  • Whilst based on current accepted practice and/or specialist knowledge, the views expressed by trainers and speakers are their own. VERTICA does not accept any liability for advice given or views expressed by them or in any notes or documentation provided to training delegates.
